Our first day in Paris. We arrived at our hotel about 1:00pm and started exploring our beautiful Left Bank neighborhood. We walked to the Louvre and then to the Museum, L’Orangerie where Monet’s Water Lillies are displayed. Tomorrow we go to see the gardens where he painted these beautiful paintings. Then on to Rue Cler, a “typical” French neighborhood. We ended the day at a French bistro where the waiter and bartender where excited to meet Americans. We all had English/French lessons and then ate a delicious dinner.
Hotel: Le Senat – charming 4 star hotel on a quiet street next to the Luxembourg Gardens.
